Hailing from Cape Town, South Africa, I have a great love of guitars. Whether it’s playing them, working on them or simply talking about them, my passion is infectious!

Nothing gets me more amped than a guitar at its best. So whether it’s set up, modification or repairs that you need, I have invested in the tools, the skills, the knowledge and the elbow-grease to inject new life into your instrument.

Drawing on more than a decade of experience in both guitar set-ups and carpentry, a few simple principles guide my craft to deliver excellence in every project:

Firstly, I know that guitars have specific needs. Wood changes with temperature, humidity and age. Therefore throughout its lifetime, a guitar requires special attention and to be adjusted accordingly.

Secondly, I see every guitar as an opportunity. For this reason every guitar deserves a chance at having its full potential unearthed through set-up before being cast aside.

Finally, I always consider the relationship between each player and their instrument to be unique. That’s why, with each set-up, my objective is to match the client’s (your) guitar to their specific playing style and to return it looking and feeling great from head to... bridge!
